The price on allakhazam is based on the last 1000 entries, so is generally pretty accurate across servers. There of course is variation, but you should in general take it as an excellent source for a base price + or - a bit of gold. The plans you bought were underpriced even then (these have always been valuable to some extent) and you could have made some cash.

The answer will be in the 5th podcast . It is possible to always find wow gold deals... I find that if you know how to search, luck will always be there for you given time. If not in one area, then in another. Thanks for commenting.

I should add, too, that even if the average of them were around 5g or so, the fact that there were 3 others selling them for near 100g or more, automatically means that you have a good shot at undercutting them and winning just from the "perceived" but not actual value. Competition is excellent when you are ok with undercutting. Makes your item seem valuable even if it's in reality a ripoff.

Nice runnings! Thanks for the link to Allakhazam: it's something I haven't used as of yet, even though I just made a whooping profit of 200g on Myrmidon Ring... But as I don't know the epic/rare price ranges, I will start using Allakhazam and Wowhead more to evaluate the deals I find.

As a continuity to my previous comment on the bid in the short one: I bought that Myrmidon Ring by bidding it when it was in the short time period and it was very cheap... So it's worthy to check the bids on that last stretch.

Keep running!
