World of Warcraft - US
I agree with you and what Blizzard doesn't recognize is that older people play this game as well the little brats. And, the way Blizzard has this game set up is for the little brats who go to school at home, and so they can play wow all day long. Blizzard hasn't step out of box when it comes to the TIME we all have to spend on quests. And I agree the price of the epic riding skill is way too much cost of gold. Like you said maybe 2500 gold. But I think it should be 1500 gold. That way everyone has a better chance getting that epic mount. And for the people who have an epic mount get a refund.

But not only is the price way too high, the riding mount system is backwards. It should not be the training that is so costly (with exception of initial 75 training maybe). Training should be minimal and the mounts should be the bigger part of the cost. Think about what you are paying for for a second. 5000g and you can go faster! But wait! It's not anything YOU did to go faster...it's the bird that's faster...and btw he's decked out in armor that is essentially worthless to you as a player should you be attacked in flight by city guards or lvl 72 elite dragons. I guess the epic bird shops for vendor trash?

With all due respect Alliss, your limited playing time doesn't mean you should get things for less than the other players that have been playing in the expansion since it was released. I have two level 70's. Neither of them have an epic flying mount yet, and I bought the expansion the day it opened to retail. 5,000 is not unreasonable for a luxury mount in a game where gold is relatively easy to attain.
