If a level is over crowded, you can always change channel. You will remain in the same level.
A lot of the level10+ quests can be left till you're say level 50, that that way, you'll be able to collect items without worrying about death.[back to Maple Story Europe Mesos.Some places you can find quests are; Perion, Lith Harbor and Henesys.

If you're focusing on attacking strong enemies for EXP, you should try beating hordes of weaker enemies. Say a strong enemy gives you 25exp but takes you 2minutes to kill, you could get twice that much exp from beating 5 weaker enemies over 1 minute.Swordsmen and thieves are generally a lot slower to level, as they rely on close range, melee attacks. An archer and mage will level faster as they can hop around, hitting monsters at a distance. But, they also need to keep MP and Arrows in reserves and they take hits like an elderly person. So, it's kind of a doubleedged sword.
